We’re proud to announce that Capital Defense Instruction now offers the Combined Utah  & Virginia Concealed Firearm Permit course in FARMVILLE, Virginia.

This 4-hour, all classroom based course, is taught by Certified Utah BCI Instructors and meets the training requirements for both a Virginia Resident and Non-Resident CHP (Concealed Handgun Permit) and also the highly coveted, gold-standard Utah Non-Resident CFP (Concealed Firearm Permit).  The Utah CFP/CCW permit alone is valid in 30+ states and includes formal reciprocity with the Commonwealth of Virginia, as well as many other surrounding states.  Course instruction includes the following topics:  handgun safety rules, handgun parts and operation, ammunition, fundamentals of shooting, safe firearms handling, Utah criminal & traffic code,  U.S. federal firearms regulations, BCI administration policy, practical and legal considerations, and more.  Although this is NOT a live fire course and range time is not required, we encourage you to cultivate your marksmanship skills by spending time at a range with a certified instructor.  This is not a NRA approved course but utilizes National Rifle Association Certified Instructors in accordance with the Commonwealth of Virginia’s requirement for demonstration of handgun competency.
